Terms of Service

The agreement

These terms are between you and Crypto Accountants. Using SIGNAL means you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorised to do so.

What SIGNAL does

SIGNAL connects to social media accounts you own or administer, retrieves analytics through the platforms' official APIs, and presents them in one place. Depending on the permissions granted and your plan, it may also schedule and publish content.

We use official APIs only. We do not scrape, and we do not use undocumented endpoints.

Your account

Keep your password secure and tell us promptly if you think someone else has access.

You are responsible for what people you invite to your workspace do with the access you grant them.

One person, one account. Do not share credentials.

Connected accounts

You may only connect accounts you own or are authorised to administer.

Your use of each platform remains governed by that platform's own terms. Nothing here overrides them.

Platforms change their APIs, their rate limits and their policies without consulting us. Features that depend on them may change or stop working at short notice, and sometimes with no notice at all. We will tell you when it happens.

Acceptable use

Do not use SIGNAL to publish unlawful content, to harass anyone, to impersonate, or to spam.

Do not attempt to circumvent platform rate limits or access data you are not entitled to.

Do not resell access without a written agreement with us.

Do not attempt to breach the security of the service or access another customer's data.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you upload or publish through SIGNAL. You grant us only the licence needed to store it, process it and deliver it to the platforms you have chosen.

Availability

We aim to keep SIGNAL running, but we do not promise uninterrupted service and there is no contractual uptime guarantee on any current plan.

The service depends on third parties. When Supabase, Netlify or a social platform has an outage, SIGNAL is affected and we cannot fix it on their behalf.

Accuracy of analytics

Figures come from the platforms. Platforms restate their own metrics, backfill late, and define terms like "reach" differently from one another. We show you what their APIs return.

Do not use SIGNAL as the sole basis for a financial, contractual or legal decision without checking against the platform directly.

Payment

Paid plans, where offered, are billed in advance. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change affecting you.

Ending it

You can stop using SIGNAL and delete your workspace at any time.

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms. Except in cases of serious misuse, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.

On termination, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. Export anything you want to keep before you close the account.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Subject to that, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for lost profits, lost data or indirect loss.

SIGNAL is provided "as is" to the extent the law allows.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
